Yes, that is when Mid-Autumn festival is held on. Mid-Autumn festival, aka Moon or Mooncake Festival, is the second most important festival celebrated by all Chinese. Its offical name in Mandarin Chinese is 中秋节(zhōng qiū jié). It is a festival that symbolises family reunion. As Chinese people believe the moon is said to be the brightest and roundest on this day which means family reunion. That is the core reason why this festival is thought to be so important.
