Highlights
Retrieval Practice
Retrieval Practice guides the development of this booklet and the activities it contains. They can be easily utilized in the teaching and learning process to incorporate retrieval skills to help cement long-term learning in a powerful way. Many activities are available in different versions which provides opportunities for quick and easy in-class quizzes helping students to develop and improve memory retrieval.

Differentiation
Differentiated worksheets are provided to suit the needs of different students. Pinyin is provided to scaffold the learning of beginners. Opportunities to foster handwriting skills for advanced/background students are available. Advanced/background students are encouraged to trace the characters available on each worksheet as an extension task and answer the questions in characters while their peers might attempt in Pinyin.
